It's a big day for our little farm. Today is the first day we've put produce on our website to sell. For this first week its lettuce, basil, and kale. That might not sound like such a big deal, but for us its a whole bunch of things coming together: work in the field, work on the website, work in the record keeping and accounting side of things. Selling produce through our website has been a part of the plan for a long time and now we're actually trying it out. Will it be seamless? Probably not. Will it be worth the trouble? That's what we'll find out. Like a ton of the things we do, it's an experiment. Stop back as the season goes on to see how it changes and grows. There's lots more to come.
